Black Friday weekend is here – and with it comes major price cuts on all things tech – and that includes TV and broadband.
But with offers out from all the big broadband networks as well as lots of bonus extras and hidden set up fees, it can be hard to decide which you should go with and who is offering the best deal.
So we’ve made life a little easier by putting their deals side by side for cheapest deal, best deal and alternative add-ons and ideas you may not have thought of.
Both Sky and Virgin Media are offering a basic bundle for Black Friday.
The cheapest Sky deal we could find is Sky Broadband Unlimited, Talk and line rental for £18 per month for 18 months (One off Broadband set up £9.95) but there’s a big catch – it doesn’t include TV!
Alternatively, you can add Sky Broadband Unlimited to any Sky TV Bundle for just £18 per month for 18 months (plus a one off TV and Broadband set up from £39.95).
Best Sky vs Virgin Media deal
If you’re not after the cheapest offer, but just want the most for your money, then without a doubt the best offering out there right now is Virgin Media’s The Ultimate Bundle.
For a pricey £75 a month, you can get two V6 boxes, with all Sky Cinema and Sky Sports channels in HD, as well as the BT Sport Collection, plus a bonus 4K Ultra HD channel and ultrafast VIVID 350 broadband.
Including 260 amazing channels in total, the same set will usually cost you £89 per month (for the 12 month contract), but £14 has been slashed off for Black Friday Weekend.
Best Sky Q deal
Sky have got a Sky Q Entertainment bundle package for £40 (usually £45) that includes superfast 36Mbps broadband, over 300 channels and Sky Q.
The downside? You’ll need to sign up for an 18-month contract.
The upside? You’ll save £90 over the 18 month course, in comparison to if you hadn’t signed up over Black Friday Weekend.
While it does include a fee for the Sky Q set up, you can get it slightly cheaper by opting for the slower 11Mbps broadband, which drops the price to £33 per month instead.
Best sport deal
We spotted a BT Sport on Sky TV bundle for half price thanks to Black Friday, now £6 per month instead of £12, which means a saving of £108 over 18 months.
No contract? Opt for Now TV instead
If you’re put off by the 18 month sign up period, then it might be worth opting for something with a little less commitment such as Now TV.
You buy the packages in bundles and can buy one month or six. Here’s a list of our favourite Black Friday Now TV deals below.
