Brighton restaurant owners announce expansion plans

Husband and wife duo, Alun and Dawn Sperring, are pleased to announce the growth of The Chilli Pickle, opening their second site in Guildford this July.

Following the success of their award-winning flagship Brighton restaurant, the Guildford launch marks ten years of the casual regionally inspired-Indian restaurant concept.  Located on the High Street, The Chilli Pickle, Guildford will be situated over two levels with 125 covers.

In late 2017 The Chilli Pickle partnered with Imagine Capital, a boutique investment and advisory firm to inject funds into an expansion of the brand over the next few years.

With an Indian market inspired feel, the new site will replicate the vibrant, authentic bustling tone with which the brand’s interior is now known.  Hand-painted Tamil stencil graphics and A2 roadside-style posters, all of which echo the sensory overload you find on real Indian streets.

Alun and Dawn say, ‘we’re so excited that The Chilli Pickle is expanding, and we couldn’t be happier that we’ve found a fantastic site in Guildford.
