Local artists wanted for £120 million redevelopment project

Local artists are being asked to consider designs for a large public art installation, as part of the £120 million Edward Street Quarter development.

The project is being developed by First Base, who have received planning consent to redevelop the two-acre site, which was formally the AMEX-house. They are joining with Patron Capital and are proposing a vibrant new mixed-use scheme that will deliver “60,000 sq.ft of Grade A offices alongside space for independent coffee shops and restaurants bringing over 2000 jobs into the city and reviving this part of Brighton.”

The mixed-use developer are soon going live with an opportunity for local artists to submit ideas for a façade wall through Brighton and Hove City Council. If you wish to be involved with this prominent piece of public art, add your name to the council’s tender list by emailing howl@wolfi.co.uk
